I watch the U-M football players, and have watched them for many years. I am concerned that the marching band does not get any attention for their pregame and halftime performances; they work very hard and their parents sure would be proud.

On Monday morning, a monstrous job awaits us at the National Guard Armory.

The picture that accompanied the article "'It is not going to be easy'" [Nation & World, Nov. 8] could be right out of a skit done by "Saturday Night Live."

A national study reports a ban on fast food commercials on TV would reduce the number of obese children by 18 percent, and the number of obese teens by 14 percent.
